Choosing a REALTOR®

Choosing the right REALTOR® can make all the difference when buying or selling a home.  A real estate agent is licensed to help people buy, sell, and rent properties. A REALTOR® is a real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), which they have agreed to abide by a code of ethics and standards of practice. All REALTORS® are real estate agents, but not all real estate agents are REALTORS®.  Consider their experience, communication skills, and knowledge of the local market. You should always interview more than 1 agent before making a decision.

How do your fees work?

Real estate fees typically refer to the commission paid to a real estate agent for their services in helping to buy or sell a property.  Exact commissions can vary depending on services needed, and the specific agreement between the agent and their client.  We offer a variety of services that will meet the needs of the client, whether you are Buying or Selling.

Commissions are not set by law and are fully negotiable.

Why do I have to sign a Buyer Representation Agreement?

A Buyer Representation Agreement is a legal document that outlines the terms of the relationship between a buyer and their real estate agent. It is designed to protect both parties and ensure that everyone is on the same page throughout the buying process. By signing this agreement, you can be confident that your agent is working in your best interests and has your back every step of the way.

What is a Pre-Approval and why do I need one?

A pre-approval letter comes from the Buyer's lender and shows that you've been pre-approved for a mortgage loan. It's important have pre-approval before you start home hunting because it shows sellers that you're a serious buyer and can afford to purchase their home.

How many homes should I look at before I make a purchasing decision?

Typically, it's recommended to view at least 5-7 homes before making a purchase decision. However the number of homes you should look at ultimately depends on your personal preferences and needs.

How to determine the value of my Home?

To price your property, you need to consider various factors such as location, size, condition, and comparable sales in the area. It's best to consult with a REALTOR® or appraiser to get a professional opinion.  It's important to price your property competitively to attract potential buyers while also ensuring that you get fair market value for your property.
